This creative and hands-on registered professional development workshop for teachers will build your jewellery making skills and equip you to teach jewellery design and silversmithing techniques safely in the classroom. The workshop is suitable for beginners and has a strong focus on design and creativity, as you make your own jewellery pieces. Every detail required to run a jewellery module will be addressed and supported by digital teaching tools, materials and programs so you can hit the ground running when you return to the classroom.

Fun and engaging school holiday workshops for budding silversmiths aged 10-14. Taught by experienced and qualified Visual Arts Teacher.
Participants design and make jewellery pieces from 100% recycled sterling silver:
+ A sterling silver pendant
+ A sterling silver ring
+ A pair if sterling silver earrings or cufflinks
Cost: $350 – includes booking fee, silver and equipment.

Intermediate program for returning students/ more experienced jewellery makers. Participants will extend their silversmith skills, learning the process of lost wax carving and dapping.
+ A wax-carved bronze pendant
+ A wax-carved sterling silver ring
+ A pair of dapped sterling silver earrings or cufflinks
Cost: $485 – includes booking fee, wax materials and casting fee.
